Year 7.2 Tuesday 28th September
Today you are going to design your front cover for your book about the Romans using Publisher.
You must include a title – “The Romans in Britain”
You must choose a picture or pictures that are suitable for your cover and also include your name.
Think carefully about the audience for your book.
I do not want you to rush and just throw together a design.
When you have finished I want you to print a black and white copy for your folders and I want you to then leave me a comment evaluating your work. Remember when commenting only give your first name.
After you have printed your first copy I want you to see if you can make any improvements before printing a colour copy.
Once finished your designs will be posted on the blog so that people can comment on them.

I put a new textbox where it says a comment about the book and i put a box where it says the author which is me and i put a new picture of a Roman coin!!!
before my colour i changed the title
i changed my name as it had been cut of in the printing and added afew more pictures but i enjoyed making the covers
Hi mr leach i found it quite fun but its REALLY ANNOYING THAT MINE ISN’T WORKING!!! y is that its sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo irritating and i know what is a matter with mine its really fuzzy so thats abput it really

my front cover was fine when i printed it out in black and white. making front cove rs was fun today.
i think i did well i enjoyed it and you can read it well
